Stormwater Tools for Education

Learning about storm water - where it flows, how it becomes polluted, and how to prevent storm water pollution - is fundamental to understanding our local water resources.

Let us know how we can help. City staff may be available to offer presentations in classrooms or at community events. Teacher/Scout Leader workshops are available throughout the year. Check our calendar for details.

Already have something in the works? We'd love to hear about your activities or projects that help improve water quality in Wentzville; submit your "Creating A Storm" story online.

Water History

Back in time...

Native Americans depended on streams for food, water, and travel.  The name "Missouri" is an indian word that means, "The people who have big canoes."
