Utility Rates

The Stormwater Utility Rate would be included on each eligible customer's utility bill. To allocate costs equitably, the rate is proportional to the impervious area (such as rooftops, driveways, parking lots etc.) of a property, since these surfaces increase stormwater runoff. This allows the City to directly link the property to its stormwater contribution (runoff volume and quality) to the stormwater system. If approved, the following stormwater utility rates would apply for eligible property in Wentzville:
